Chris Russell, our National Director for Education, invites you to attend online and hear directly from Ofsted.
We have now been back inspecting schools routinely since September 2021. As part of our work, we have been listening carefully to feedback and queries from school leaders and staff.
We know that there are many organisations and individuals out there who are keen to be experts on Ofsted – and sometimes charge you for it.
Free webinars
We’d like to give school leaders and staff the opportunity to hear directly from us and my colleagues in three upcoming free live webinars.
- Inspections and the COVID-19 pandemic (Monday 9 May, 3.30pm to 4.30pm) [This is now fully booked but we'll put the link to the recording here when it's available.]
- Inspections and teachers' workload (Monday 13 June, 4pm to 5pm) [This is now fully booked but we'll put the link to the recording here when it's available.]
- Education inspection framework (EIF) inspections in primary schools (Monday 20 June, 4pm to 5pm)
We have picked the webinar topics and content carefully to focus on key points and on the areas that can sometimes cause confusion.
You can register to join as many of these sessions as you like.
Webinar recordings
We really hope you can attend the live events, but we are also recording them and putting them on our YouTube channel.

Please could you run a further session of the EIF inspections in primary schools webinar, as the 28th March session is full.
Many thanks

Hi, which one were you trying to register for? The primary one is currently full but the other two are open. If you were after the primary one, I'll be back in touch tomorrow once I know for sure what the plan is there. Watch this space 🙂

That filled up quickly! I'll just check what the plan is and will get back to you shortly on this.

Unfortunately I do not work school hours so am unable to attend these webinars. Are they recorded so that they can be viewed in the evening? I do hope so as this looks like an excellent opportunity to learn about Ofsted.

Hello Caroline,
Having seen Elizabeth's comment, please would it be possible to send me an e-mail as well with the new date for the primary EIF session, when it is available? I would be very grateful. Many thanks, Caroline.

Again, I would like to ask if there is a recording of the 'Schools webinar - EIF inspections in primary schools' ? - I was lucky enough to attend, but would like to have the opportunity to share with colleagues who could not.
Many thanks.

I have registered for a webinar but am conscious that this starts before the end of my teaching day(4.30pm). If I’m unable to get cover, will it be ok to join later and will there be access to a recording, please?
Many thanks.

Hi Sue
It's fine to join the webinar after the start time. We will also publish the recording after the event on our YouTube channel.
Thanks
